Luck has always been on his side or vice versa for croatian music teacher Frane Selak (born in 1929), who is well known around the world for as many fatal accidents as spectacular escapes.
The first of his numerous near-death experiences began on a cold January day in 1962, when Selak was on a train to Dubrovnik: it suddenly derailed into an icy river, killing 17 passengers.
He managed to escape with a broken arm, minor scratches and bruises.
A year later, Selak was flying, from Zagreb to Rijeka, when a door abruptly blew away from the cockpit of the plane, as he was blown off the plane.
The accident killed 19 people, however, Selak was lucky enough to land on a haystack, and wake up some days later in hospital, with minor injuries.
It was in 1966 that he met with the third misadventure while traveling on a bus that crashed and plunged into a river. There were four people dead. Astonishingly, Selak managed to escape unharmed again.
In 1970, Selak was driving along when, all of a sudden, his car caught fire. He was fortunate again to have left the car before the fuel tank exploded.
Three years later, another of Selak’s car caught fire, blowing flames through the air vents. To a greater dismay, Selak's lost most of his hair.
In 1995, Selak was in Zagreb when he was hit by a bus, again leaving nothing but a few injuries.
The following year, while driving through a mountain road, Selak drove off a guardrail to escape an oncoming truck and landed on a tree to watch his car explode 300 feet below.
In a surprising turn of events in 2003, Selak won the million-dollar Croatian lottery, turning the man into either the world’s unluckiest man, or the world’s luckiest one.

The retiree from Valenzuela City won the P50,677,708.00

The winning numbers were from his wife and children’s birthdays.
He will use the money to pay his housing loans and invest in a new business.
New Games
PCSO will introduce and launch five new game products to the public this year.
This are Lotto 6/58, Rainbow Game, High Tres, Digit Plus, and Pick One.
How to claim your lotto jackpot prize.
It takes less than an hour for lotto winners to claim their prizes.
A winner first has to present his or her winning ticket for validation at a teller of the agency’s Internal Audit Department (PCSO-IAD).
Once the ticket is confirmed to be genuine and a winner, the lotto computer will spit out another ticket that says: “Pay,“ with the jackpot amount stated.
PCSO-IAD personnel do not make a fuss of the winner, even if the jackpot involves staggering amount. They just go on with their work like nothing extraordinary so as to protect the winner’s identity.
Only a few people get to know the lotto winners and are barred from announcing them.
The lotto winner will then proceed for a brief interview with another PCSO staff to get his or her profile, show an identification card, then to the Treasury Department for the issuance of the check.
Winners of PCSO lotto jackpots receive their money in lump sum, tax-free, though in check, to be drawn against their choice bank, either with the Philippine National Bank (PNB), or Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP).
Or they can request the PCSO Treasury Department to make out a check for deposit with the two banks, which are located with the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
PCSO holds office at PICC’s Secretariat.
At the bank, a winner may ask for cash and deposit the rest.
They can also ask the bank for advice on how to manage their winnings well.
PCSO officials do not interfere with winner’s bank preference, but when asked, they will suggest five or more banks where the winner can deposit his or her money.
On some occasions, the PCSO chairman may turn over the check to the winner. Oftentimes, it is being done by the general manager, thus, a chance to speak with the lucky bettor.
Jackpot winners are off limits to the news media.
Now that you know the procedure on how to claim the jackpot prize, the only problem now is ... when will you hit that elusive lotto jackpot ?

Two lucky lotto bettors are now millionaires after winning the jackpot of 6/42 ( 2/1/14 ) draw.
The bettors got the combination of 4-8-11-12-20-21 to win the jackpot worth P 27,893,532.00
The winning tickets were purchased in Lucena City, Quezon and Legaspi City, Albay.

One of the winners is a 33-year-old fastfood waiter who bagged P13,919,766 for betting on the winning numbers 04-08-11-12-20-21.
The winner from Legaspi City, Albay, bought only one ticket worth P20. The jackpot shared by the two winners was worth P27,893,532. The other winner came from Lucena, Quezon
The lotto winner is still single and plans to buy a house and lot for his parents, share the money with his siblings, and put up a business.
Two winners ?
There are two lucky lotto winners for the 6/42 Feb.1, 2014 draw. With the jackpot prize of P 27,893,532.00 Each has a share of P13,919,766 each.
When the lotto winner saw that his ticket has won the jackpot, the lotto winner could not imagine that he won P27,893,532.00.
That is the first reaction of a lotto winner.
But is he really sure that he is the only lotto jackpot winner?
Now comes PCSO telling the winner that two of them won the jackpot.
What's his next reaction ?
I cant believe it.... Can you show me some proof ?
Now lets go to other Countries, who has lotto games also. From United States to London, Ireland , Spain ETC .....
The only evidence they could show is a simple PICTURE of a lotto winner.
Why winners has to be pictured?
Can you trust that lotto is fair?
It's all about integrity. If you do not trust the lottery, you won't play.
That is the main reason that most lotteries around the world publish the names of lottery winners.
It is social proof that the lottery is fair. People need to know that they have a fair chance of winning the lottery.
By publishing the names of winners, the lottery corporation shows that normal, everyday people like yourself can and do win the lottery.
Not only do they list names, they also provide photos of many of the winners. Seeing a name and photo does a lot to show that real people actually win.
But, what would you think if winners were always kept secret by the lotto companies ? Just like us here in our country.
What if they don't published the names or pictures of lottery winners? Would you still think you could win?
Would you still play the lotto? Maybe not. What proof would there be that people actually won?
The only reason I could think here in our country is what I call .... A TRUST THING.
Its really a different thing for us here. Many things could happen if we published our photos in the newspaper as a proof that you won the lotto jackpot..
I wont enumerate all the reasons, but your life would really be in danger.
From kidnapping to ransom. From friends, neighbors and relatives, you know what I mean.
What do you think? should we publish our photos just to prove that we have lotto winners here in our country?

I'll make them all Happy ....
Here's a interesting story about a lotto winner who won almost 18 Million Pesos, and just gave away his lotto winnings.
Maybe this lucky old man was thinking, he would just set aside a small portion of his winnings and anytime now his going to die anyway.
What if he distribute the money to his relatives and neighbors, and that will make them all happy ?
HANOI – A poverty-stricken 97-year-old man in Vietnam won up to $400,000 (18 Million Pesos) in a lottery, sparking a frenzy among relatives eager to get a piece of his new-found wealth.
A neighbor in southern Ho Chi Minh City and local officials had to step in to stop the elderly man from giving away the windfall to people who had swarmed to his home.
Nguyen Van Het bagged the prize after spending 100,000 dong (just over $5) on lottery tickets from "lucky money" he received ahead of the Lunar New Year.
Small packets of "lucky money" are a traditional Tet gift.
Thanh Nien reported Het's winnings at 7.6 billion dong, or $400,000, (18 Million Pesos) a massive sum in a country where the annual per capita income is about $1,000.
The official, who declined to be named, said local authorities had to intervene and restore order around the man's home because so many relatives or people claiming to be relatives had turned up asking for money.
Het and his sick wife had been receiving special financial support from authorities because they lived below the poverty line.
By the way this old man used a lucky money to bet the lotto.
How about asking a gift from a friend, instead of a material gift, how about a lucky money?

When a lotto bettor wins a lotto jackpot, we all collectively look at the lucky winner and wonder how luck came to this person or what caused God's extraordinary intervention in his life.
I always tell people that there are no systems ,tips or secret formula to win the lotto.
If there was a sure-fire technique that would win you the lotto every time, then the lottery business would definitely go down. We would all become winners.

Is it winning and helping or helping and winning ?
Question .....
What if you won a lotto jackpot, what will you do ?.
Answer :
I will help my Family.
I will donate part of my winnings to charity Organizations
I will build a chapel.
I will give food to those who are hungry.
I will help the poor people.
ETC .....
Question ...
What if you don't win a lotto jackpot, what will you do ?.
Answer : Nothing, Life goes on with our daily routine.
Winning the lotto jackpot with condition ?
Why should we win first the lotto jackpot before doing all this promises to help people ?
Could we not help this people by giving them help first before winning ?
Do we need to win first the lotto jackpot before we give our help ?
We don't need to win the jackpot first and give 1 million Pesos to build a Chapel. Even if we don't win, we can donate P100 first or make a collection box for a start.
If then people will start donating even P10 it will come to a time that it will reach P1 million, then that's the time to build the Chapel.
If you see beggars on the street, You don't need to win the jackpot first and give them P1,000 because you won the jackpot. Even if we don't win, You can share them some loose change, but those coins is worth a thousand if you badly needed those coins.
Luke : 21: 1-4
Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
My point is, if you will not win the jackpot, the Chapel will never be build. You will never help the poor people.
So for the meantime lets find ways to fulfill those things that we want to do before that jackpot falls into our hand.
If you want to help, YOU DON'T NEED TO BE RICH TO HAVE A REASON TO HELP OR YOU DON'T NEED TO BE POOR IN ORDER TO HAVE A REASON NOT TO HELP.
What You need is only a HEART and not the LOTTO JACKPOT.
