Winning the Lotto Jackpot Illegally
If you're a lotto jackpot winner, then the only requirements are two government issued ID's and the winning ticket.
I remember a woman attempted to claim the Grand Lotto 6/55’s P741.17-million jackpot drawn way back on November 29, 2010.
She claimed she was the winner but could not present the winning ticket because it was with her grandson who run away with the winning lotto ticket.
For sure She doesn't know the no ticket no payment policy.
The real winner, though, was a 60-year-old Filipino working in the United States, who claimed the bonanza over a week later.
A PCSO insider said there were many cases of fraudulent attempts to claim jackpot prizes but none had succeeded.
Some ‘enterprising’ people present tickets made by computers, cut and pasted from images of the original tickets.
Others even place a bet on the same winning numbers the day after the numbers are announced, and they present those as winning tickets.
Remember:
The truth doesn't cost anything, but a lie could cost you everything.
