Single bet wins P90 million

A teacher  has realized the dream of many millionaire-wannabes after winning the  June 4, 2013 Super Lotto 6/49's  P90,996,106.40 jackpot.

The 35-year-old teacher from Rizal province now has enough money to open her own school.

The winner from Binangonan town became the country’s newest millionaire when she hit the P90-million jackpot on June 4.

“I could not believe that my P20 turned to millions.”

The winner said she initially placed a bet for Monday’s 6/55 Grand Lotto draw for which she won P20.

But instead of claiming the money, she opted to use the P20 to place another bet for the next day’s 6/49 Super Lotto draw.

The winner added that she never imagined that she would bag the jackpot by betting on her favorite number combination of  5-20-21-26-35-45

The winner, who is single, said she would use the money to buy a house for her parents and build a community school, an indication that she wanted to go on teaching.

She added that she would also make a donation to the church.
