The news was way back 2008, and one of the lotto winners went to PCSO old office at E.Rodriguez Quezon City with all his neighbors or probably the whole community.
The anonymous winners a Quezon City couple who quickly claimed their monster share of the pot -- P33,305,159.70 -- bringing along with them practically an entire Barangay (village) of well-wishers from District I of Quezon City.
The winning couple and their “escorts” filled up the holding room of the PCSO.
They were so many, that some of them had to be told to wait outside the building.
Wow, I cant imagine what happened after the couple received their check.
This case is no different from other lotto jackpot winners.
One winner was killed, one winner was brought to St.Luke hospital, one winner was kidnapped, one winner jump out from the 3rd floor of a building, etc.
Why ? because people knew they won the lotto jackpot and that's where the problem starts.
This couple broke rule number 1, which is to keep it a secret.
