A trader, who earned his keep from buying and selling dried fish, won the P53.9 million in the June 28 draw of the Mega Lotto 6/45.
The lotto bettor , a 39-year-old man from Dumaguete claimed his cash prize more than a month after he won the jackpot.
The instant solo millionaire was so lucky as he had only spared P20 bet using the number combination of 1-18-19-20-32-42 which he only guessed.
Why it took him some time to claim his winnings ?
He wants things to cool down first before claiming his millions.
The winner was a former electrician and through hard work, he was able to venture in a dried fish buy-and-sell business.
