Lucky pick or lucky numbers?

Do you think your chosen numbers are more luckier than your lucky pick to help you win big?.

In reality, the percentage of winners using the lucky pick option is about the same percentage of players who use their lucky numbers.

In other words, it doesn’t really matter how you pick your numbers.

Statistically, the odds are the same that any combination of numbers will be picked.

So, it doesn’t matter if you choose your lucky numbers or let the machine choose for you.

Lotto aficionados always say that it's really hard to win the jackpot if your bets are not that big.

The lesser tickets you have the less chance of winning and the more lotto tickets you have the more chances of winning.

It is common knowledge that the odds are one against millions just to let you win the jackpot.

Remember, the more tickets you have does not guarantee a win but gives you a percentage of edge.

Again, the more tickets you have does not guarantee a win.

However, hope still rings eternal that someone has to win either he or she has less or more tickets, right?

So it doesn't matter if he or she has more bets than the other.

Sooner or later someone is going to win that jackpot.

The fact is that someone will win it.

Remember this:
You have the same chance of winning as everyone else.

A lucky lotto bettor from Angono, Rizal is now a millionaire after winning the jackpot of 6/49 (11/20/18) draw.

The winner got the combination of
13-14-15-18-24-26 to win the jackpot worth P68.4 million.

The winning ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in M.L Quezon Avenue, Angono, Rizal.

A lot of people say that if they win the lottery, they will only tell their family about it. But this man is different.

One of the winners of the highest lotto cash prize to be recorded in Philippine history (P1.18 Billion) gave away money to his colleagues on Wednesday at the Borongan City Hall in Eastern Samar where he works.

The man, whose identity remains unknown (at least to media), really made it rain — he gave away a whopping PHP4.8 million.
That’s enough to buy a decent-sized condo in Metro Manila.
According to a report from ABS-CBN’s news show Bandila, the man gave PHP5,000 to each employee at the city hall.
He sent a check to the City Treasurer's Office which then distributed the money to the employees.
He even gave the same amount to the city’s mayor, Fe Abunda.
Abunda told radio stationDZMM: “I was happy because one day I was in my office, and an employee told me, ‘Mayor, here’s your PHP5,000.'” She ended up using the money to buy snacks.
Abunda said she has a personal connection with the winner. “The mother of this person was the nanny of my child.
When I became a mayor, I made him a permanent employee [here at the city hall],” she said.
The man will also give cash to members of a tricycle drivers’ association he is a part of.
It turns out that aside from working at the city hall, he also used to work as a tricycle driver to augment his income.
After which, he will also give PHP5,000 to each family in the barangay (village) where he lives.
According to his friend Joselito, the one whom he assigned to manage the distribution of the money to his neighbors, he will give as much as PHP5 million.
He will also donate to the church. Obviously, his generosity knows no bounds.
The man is one of the two winners of the record breaking PHP1,180,622,508 lotto prize that the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office gave in October.
The other winner is reportedly a nurse from Albay.
If you win the lotto, would you tell your neighbors and colleagues about it?

No Skills Needed

The game of lottery is a game of chance. There are no special skills to win the jackpot.

Unlike in other activities that require skills to win, let’s say, you play basketball.

When you play the game and you come close to winning, you can always spend more time practicing and honing your skills like shooting so you can increase your probability of winning the next game.

In stock market investing, you may make some mistakes the first few times you invest but the more you learn the game by studying how to time the buying and selling of stocks and knowing the companies that you buy, you can increase your chances of making money.

But in lottery, no amount of skills can get you the jackpot.

Remember:

You could buy a 100 lotto tickets and not win, or you could buy one and win it.

Play for Charity

The most important thing to know about playing lotto is the fact that the money you pay to buy the tickets are used to fund charity projects for the poor such as health programs and medical assistance.

According to the charter of PCSO, about 30 percent of the ticket sales is allocated to charity fund while 15 percent is used to pay for operating expenses and the balance of 55 percent to pay for prizes.

The next time you buy a lotto ticket, remember that you are not only doing this for your benefit but also for the benefit of others.

Remember:
Help people, even when you know they can't help you back.

When you buy lotto tickets, you must remember that you are doing this for pleasure.

This is not something in which you must invest tons of money  to increase your chances of winning.

Or maybe devote so much time studying the probabilities of winning numbers.

If playing the lottery game is a leisure activity, you only need to buy few tickets that you can afford to lose. It is like buying a ticket to watch a good movie or a concert by your favorite artist.

Be careful not to treat you're spending on lottery as your investment because if you do, you are more likely to buy more lotto tickets in the future based on what you have already spent so far.

Remember:
If you win, you will be happy
If you lose, you will be wise

“He was male who hails from Samar. He claimed his prize of P472 million last Tuesday Oct.16.
Nanghiram nga lang siya ng pamasahe para makapunta rito [sa Maynila],” Florante Solmerin, PCSO Deputy Spokesperson, told GMA News Online in a phone interview.
Nagsama lang siya ng isang relative.
Kapag malakihan [ang napanalunang jackpot], 'di nagtatagal, nake-claim agad.
Minsan one to two weeks kung galing probinsya, pero within days lang kapag andito sa Metro Manila,” Solmerin added.
The other winner is from Albay and the PCSO has yet to receive word if the other winner has already claimed the prize.
Winners have at least a year from winning to claim their prize. Once that window time expires, unclaimed prizes will go to the charity fund of the PCSO.
