Jackpot Winner of P113M Loses winning Ticket

A man who claimed to have won the jackpot in the 6/45 Mega Lotto drawn on Wednesday (7/17/19) has sought police assistance, claiming a teller at a lotto outlet in this city lost his winning ticket.

Joram  Pagaran, 38, a resident of Barangay Soriano, Cabadbaran City in Agusan del Norte, told police he guessed the winning combination 8-11-25-33-43-45, which had a total jackpot of P113,065,050.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)said a lone bettor won the jackpot in the 6/45 Mega Lotto drawn on July 17.

Pagaran said he went to a lotto outlet along E. Luna street in Barangay Sikatuna at around 9 a.m. on Thursday to verify if his ticket won.

He said the lotto machine confirmed that he won the jackpot when his ticket was inserted.

However, Pagaran said the lotto outlet teller denied he received Pagaran’s ticket.

The lotto outlet employee was brought to the police station.

She insisted during questioning that she did not get Pagaran’s lotto ticket.

An investigation is ongoing.

The PCSO advises lotto winners to present their winning tickets at its main office in Mandaluyong City.

The ticket should not be damaged or altered and winners should sign at the back to establish ownership, the PCSO said.

As a  lotto jackpot winner, will you feel safe?

Lotto jackpot winners and future lucky bettors have no reason to worry about their confidentiality because it will remain a tightly-kept secret for their safety and security.

PCSO keeps the records of the winners strictly confidential.

Records of the winners are not available to the public, even to the employees of the agency.

If a winner voluntarily exposes himself or herself to the public, then that is a different story, "PCSO has no control over jackpot winners showing themselves to the public.

Dionie Reyes, a native of Las Pinas, became a sort of a media "celebrity" after voluntarily exposing himself to the public.

Reyes said he came out because he wanted other lotto winners to learn from his mistakes.

Remember:
Money does not change people, it only exposes them.

Don't Tell Anyone

Winning the lotto jackpot might seem like a dream come true, but a windfall of 50 million or 100 million can also cause as many problems as it solves.

Winning the jackpot could create all sorts of strains on relationships, as neighbors, friends and family comes seeking handouts  or expecting a financial gift probably in millions too.

But if you fail to give them the right amount they expected from you, then expect the unexpected.

After a few days, you will have few friends left and expect some enemies too. Even calling you greedy.

Best advice and solutions:
1. Don't tell anyone
2. Don't do anything for a month. just sit, think and make a good plan for it.

Remember:
The best way of keeping a secret is to pretend there isn't one.

A throwback lesson to be learned from a lotto Jackpot winner.

For three months, Dionie Reyes  - winner of P14,125,032 in the Lotto 6/42 draw on April 22, 2008 - lived the life of a millionaire, something he had been longing to experience.

He lived in a P4-million house in a posh subdivision, drove around in a sports utility vehicle (SUV), and gave goodwill money, ranging P1,000 to P 850,000, to relatives and friends.

Out of his winnings, he gave his six siblings P50,000 each; another P500,000 to one of his nephews for a three-door apartment he wanted to build; and from P1,000 to P30,000 to some of his office mates; and P100,000 to his boss.

He gifted a nephew of his wife with a car worth P850,000.

When he showed up in his home in Cavite, he gave away from P5,000 to P50,000 to some friends and neighbors.

He estimated he gave away about P2 million or more for "balato" to relatives, friends, neighbors, and office mates, not counting people he did not know who came to him to borrow money.

He spent all his money through daily gambling, especially cockfighting, drinking sprees nightly, and womanizing.

After three months, nothing was left from his winnings.

Two Ways To Increase Your Luck.

1. Positive Visualization

Visualization is a technique where you picture yourself experiencing a desired event, which helps you  work  out the steps to make that event happen.

In terms of  lottery, we think about winning the Jackpot prize - we feel ourselves win the prize that we're dreaming about - and use that visual image to fuel our drive to win.

2. Increasing your Karma

Karma is one of the principle tenets of Hindu philosophy, but it can be simply summarized as, "What Goes Around, Comes Around."

In other words, if you do good things to others, like lending your hands or helping them, then more good things will happen to you and the luckier you'll be.

You can modify your dream but never abandon it.

Luck is The Only Thing

When a lotto bettor wins a lotto jackpot, we all collectively look at the lucky winner and wonder how luck came to this person or what caused God's extraordinary intervention in his life.

I always tell people that there are no systems, tips or secret formula to win the lotto.

If there was a sure-fire technique that would win you the lotto every time, then the lottery business would definitely go down.

We would all become winners.

For me the best trick to pick out number combination's for lotto is to pick them randomly.

When you are in the lottery outlet to place bets you should bet on the number combination's that comes immediately to your mind in that exact moment.

Follow your instinct because this might be the key for your luck in winning.

Note that lottery games are still games of luck. This is why we must rely too much on our luck when playing lottery games.

Moreover, as I always say you can also make use of birthdays, anniversaries, and other significant dates to create your own number combination's.

Some people think that getting combination ideas from these dates is very lucky.

The truth is, this is a good option. You may even choose to pick lotto number combination's suggested by horoscopes or even in your dreams.

There are people who believes in the luck that dreams and horoscopes gives them.

This is also a good way to choose numbers since we are actually playing game which is reliant on luck.

Luck has the power to transform the improbable into the possible

Pinoy Janitor Wins P272 Million

A Filipino working as a janitor in Canada has become an instant millionaire after winning the jackpot prize of 7 million Canadian dollars (P272 million) in the Lotto 6/49 draw last April 27.

The lucky Filipino was Vito Halasan, a resident of Surrey, according to a press release from the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).

He got all the six numbers right during the draw just days after he celebrated his 58th birthday.

"I remember scanning my ticket and seeing all these numbers. I have really blurry vision so I had to hold the ticket right up to my face. I couldn’t believe it," the company statement quoted Halasan as saying.

When he won, he immediately told his daughter.

"He sat me down at the table and then he whispered really quietly to me that he won $7 million dollars. I didn’t believe him. We had to check online several times," his daughter said.

Halasan has three children and four grandchildren. He hopes to provide his family a better future since moving to Canada from the Philippines 10 years ago.

"I buy lottery tickets so I can dream. I dream of being able to take care of my kids and make their future better. Now we’ll be able to buy a nice house for my children and grandchildren," he said.

Halasan was quoted as saying that he won’t quit his job as janitor but planned to reduce his work hours.

Lotto 6/49 in Canada is a nationwide lottery game drawn on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Each draw includes a guaranteed prize draw of $1 million.
