A lotto winner once said ......
"It's nice to be able to get up in the morning and
say, I don't have to go to work."
BIRTHDAY IS ALWAYS INFUSED WITH LUCK
Birthdays are those dates which have
been the reason why people win, and you might have seen many winners base their lucky numbers in the
birthdates of their family numbers.
Others make their birthdays a good
reason to go out and make a point of meeting Lady Luck right in her face
and having her smile upon them.
A Granby man has just claimed the $250,000 Missouri Lottery prize
from the July 31, 2012 Mega Millions drawing.
Frank Forichette, 52, wanted to
celebrate his birthday and made it a point to give it a try so he bought
a Quick Pick ticket, but after thinking about it, decided to get his
own numbers as well. It was his birthday and he would simply go with
whatever he felt like doing.
It turned out that his set of numbers
matched all five white-ball numbers to win him the $250,000 prize. (P10 million pesos)
“I decided to play on the 31st because it was my birthday,” explained
Forichette. “It’s just numbers I’ve been playing for a while.”
He bought the winning ticket at Snak Atak, 752 Valley St., in Granby.
The winning Mega Millions combination on July 31 was: 5, 18, 21, 29, 31
and 41.
“I play Mega Millions, Powerball, Lotto and Show Me the Cash,” joked Forichette. “I don’t do Scratchers. I never win on them.”
As a good Lottery fan, Forichette has his own way on looking at the
games, if he never wins in a game he simply quits playing that game and
plays on another one.
“I used to just play Powerball,” he said. “I picked the numbers off it and put it on the Mega.”
Happy with the win, Forichette said he would use the money to pay some pending bills and make repairs around his house.
Forichette, who makes concrete molds for lawn decorations for a
living and is planning to keep on working for the money he won, is not
enough to retire.
Although he has just won a very respectable amount he
still plans to keep on playing the lottery.
So how about you, why don't you try this when your birthday comes.
